Sunlight Plant your Parlor Palm in an area that receives full sun (6-8 hours of direct sunlight per day).
Watering Water your Palm 2-3 times per week for the first month, then once a week for the remainder of the first year after planting. Keep the soil moist but well-drained, watering more in times of drought and less when there is rainfall.
Fertilizing If necessary, use a palm-specific fertilizer for your Palm. Slow-release fertilizer is best to allow the smaller root system to uptake what it needs. Apply close to the base and start in spring/follow specific fertilizer instructions.

Planting & Care
1. Planting: An East or North-facing window is ideal for your Parlor Palm since it grows best in filtered or indirect, low light. Once you’ve chosen your location, plant your Parlor Palm in a pot that’s approximately twice the size of its shipped container.
2. Watering: First, the Parlor Palm loves humidity and moist soil. It’s easy to provide a humid environment by placing your plant in a bathroom, kitchen or near a humidifier. However, your Parlor Palm can be placed anywhere and thrive – simply ensure that you mist it regularly, so the soil remains moist. If you’re not sure when to mist your plant, simply check the soil down to around 2 inches. If the soil is dry, it’s time to mist your Parlor Palm.
3. Fertilizing: Apply a balanced liquid fertilizer (preferably one made for house plants) monthly, during the growing season (spring to summer).
