Heat Tolerant Shrub + Giant Yellow Blooms
Why Yellow Rhododendrons?
This extremely heat tolerant Rhododendron boasts huge yellow blooms in the spring...growing where no rhododendron has ever grown before. In fact, this variety thrives in direct sunlight or partial shade.
Popular for its huge clusters of vibrant yellow flowers (in clusters of 8 to 10 flowers each), the Yellow Rhododendron will have your neighbors and guests wondering where you got your green thumb.
Especially since it's adaptable to a variety of soil conditions and climates. They're even drought-tolerant, meaning you don't have to worry about missing waterings. No matter the conditions or climate, your new Rhododendrons will deliver an explosion of huge clusters, filled with gigantic yellow flowers.
From gardens to walkways and hedgerows, the Yellow Rhododendron makes a huge impression. You can grow them just about anywhere you want!
Why Fast-Growing-Trees.com is Better
Your Fast Growing Trees Rhododendron will be shipped in a large container, ensuring you receive an established and mature-sized plant. Many of our competitors only offer small sizes, which will take years to reach the proper height or deliver vibrant color.
Meanwhile, you'll watch yours quickly fill in voids with yellow blooms and glossy foliage not found in any other specimen.
But don't wait - Yellow Rhododendrons are hard to find. Get yours today!
Planting & Care
1. Planting: Plant your Yellow Rhododendron in an area that receives full to partial sunlight (3 to 6 hours of sunlight) and in well-drained soil.
Dig a hole that's about three times the size of your shrub's rootball, place your shrub, backfill the soil, and water to settle the roots.
2. Watering: Simply check your surrounding soil about 3 inches down - if the soil is dry here, it's time to water your plant.
3. Fertilizing: If you notice slower growth, feed with a well-balanced blend after blooms have dropped in the summer.

Seems to be surviving
This plant seems to be doing well but only time will tell.
Yellow rhododendron not for full sun.
My little rhodo arrived healthy even after being in shipment for 9 days. However the description for the plant said "thrives in full direct sun, where no rhododendron has ever grown before." That is not true. I had to move the bush from its planned spot to a spot that is mostly shade, it is doing much better now UT was really unhappy getting sun from 1pm to 5pm. I like the plant, just not appropriate for the growing conditions given by FGT.com
