Planting & Care
1. Planting: Though it tolerates partial shade, particularly during the afternoon hours, it thrives in at least 6 hours of direct sunlight daily.
Dig your hole only to the depth of the shrub’s root ball. Once you’ve placed the shrub in your the hole, ensure you backfill the soil. Your shrub should also be planted in an area with well-drained soil to avoid root rot and planted away from downspouts.
2. Watering: During the first year after planting your shrub, a regular watering schedule is essential. Water the shrub each week if the natural rainfall for your area doesn’t supply enough water. If you're not sure when to water, just check the surrounding soil - if the soil is dry, it's time to water.
3. Fertilizing: Perform a soil test in the area where your shrub is or will be planted. If fertilizer is recommended per your soil test results, apply during spring, when new growth emerges. New growth will be easy to spot because fresh leaves are toned with a vibrant shade of light, bright green.

The two small plants arrived nicely boxed and healthy. The costly plants ,I hope these plants will just like the picture above. The plants are currently in large pots with top notch potting soil , having plenty of sun on our southeast side near our house and away from the north cold,windy weather in Connecticut as our planting season has ended for the year.

My experience with Fast Growing trees was great.....However my shrubs were delayed by shipping and got to me too late to plant, shipper also didn't heed the "LAY FLAT ,PLANTS" notice plainly posted on shipping carton, but stood carton on end. This jammed the tops of the plants together. I'm trying to winter the plants over until spring & I can plant....we will see how that works out. PS: Fast Growing Trees gave me a full refund.
