Planting & Care
2. Watering: We recommend watering about once weekly for the best results. If you’re not sure when to water, check the soil about 2 or 3 inches down. If the soil is dry in this area, it’s time to water.
3. Fertilizing: Fertilize your tree after it starts blooming, preferably with a well-balanced fertilizer once or twice yearly.
4. Pruning: Lightly prune or sizing and shaping purposes. To encourage a stronger root system, you may pick off the faded blooms or fruit – this allows your tree to focus on establishing its roots.

Time will tell. So far so good...
Ordered in early Fall. I love amelanchier trees because they're so pretty, don't take over your garden, are great for wildlife and berries are tasty...if you get to them before birds do. This baby arrived healthy, with a few leaves still attached, and within the '4-5' range listed (from top of rootball). I soaked it for a few hours before planting it out the next day in a corner of our garden bed, sheltered from any strong winds. I only wish it did not have such a thin trunk (small caliper), but luckily it came with a bamboo stick to help keep it straight. Am very much looking forward to watching it grow and flourish. I'll update after Spring '23. *I do recommend purchasing the 1 yr. warranty because mother nature is unpredictable.
Service berry trees
Timely delivery. Ordered two trees. One was in perfect shape. The burlap on the other was ripped or deteriorated which resulted in the dirt to fall away from the roots. Planted it with supplementary soil and watered in. Will see how it does.
So far, so good
Arrived with one branch broken so it looks a bit strange; however, it is alive and has buds so hoping it will be much better in the Spring.
Great tree!
It was in great shape. Doing well after planting.
AWESOME TREE
I didn't buy one it was already in the yard. I just love it. Flowers fruit and birds. I added mulch to keep moisture going. On hot days I do give it water, it is about 15 feet tall and formed a canopy. Just beautiful.
