A Landscape Gem with Ruby-Red Color
Create a look like no other with the Ruby Loropetalum. Also known as Chinese Fringe, this stunning plant features ruby-red new growth that matures into a striking burgundy. It’s perfect for creating a unique hedge or adding color to green landscape areas.
Bright, ruby-hued new leaves turn deep purple in autumn, giving your garden a remarkable four-season view. And that's not all - in the summer, the plant blooms with bright pink clusters of fringe-shaped flowers, changing your landscape dramatically.
This versatile Ruby Loropetalum is ideal for growing in your garden or in containers, adding color to patios and entryways. It provides a welcome pop of color, especially in green landscape beds or against a neutral backdrop.
And it's effortless to grow. Once your Ruby Loropetalum has established, it's drought-resistant and can tolerate heat in southern climates. Plus, it's resistant to deer.
If you're looking to add a unique and vibrant evergreen to your garden, the Ruby Loropetalum is a perfect choice.

Planting & Care
Planting: You can plant the Ruby Loropetalum at any time of the year in an area with full or partial sun. It prefers moist, acidic and well-drained soil. Dig a hole twice as wide as your Loropetalum's shipped container, and equally as deep. Place your Loropetalum in the hole, and backfill with soil, tamping down to remove air pockets. Water well after planting.
Watering: Water your Loropetalum thoroughly after planting, and keep watering your bush once or twice a week until it establishes. Be sure to mulch the roots if you live in an area with extreme temperatures.
Fertilizing: Fertilize your Loropetalum with a slow-release, balanced fertilizer in spring to ensure healthy growth.
Pruning: No pruning is needed, but the Loropetalum can tolerate heavy pruning if you want to shape it, remove dead branches, or conform with your landscape setting. Pruning is best done after the flowering season - avoid pruning in early spring or winter.

Super Cute
It arrived on time, and in very good shape. I love the combination of dark green and burgundy leaves. It's just the right pop of color I need in an evergreen plant. I haven't put it in the ground yet and it's already sprouting the fuchsia flowers. I expect it should do well once I plant it.
