Double the Petals on Double the Roses
Why Double Knock Out® Roses?
Boasting one of the longest blooming periods available, from early summer to late fall, the Double Knock Out® Rose gives you all the amazing characteristics of the original Knock Out® Rose - just with more petals and even better disease resistance.
Even better? Not only is this cultivar more resistant to black spot, rust, and mildew, but it's also more resistant to insects. That means the Double Knock Out® is virtually maintenance-free, especially since it grows thickly without pruning. Plus, it thrives in containers or in the ground.
Why Fast-Growing-Trees.com is Better
With plenty of blooms to spare, you'll enjoy fresh cut roses in your home from spring until fall. And depending on your soil conditions, your blooms can range from dark to light red, offering even more versatility. And we prune your Knock Out® Roses before we ship them to give you an explosion of growth. Because of our hard work at the nursery and tried-and-true shipping process, you get a greater chance of success at home.
Elevate the elegance of your garden with the effortless Double Knock Outs!

Planting & Care
1. Planting: Choose a well-drained site in full to partial sun (4 to 8 hours of sunlight per day). If you choose partial sun, make sure your plant receives at least 6 hours of direct sunlight each day (afternoon shade is better than morning shade).
Start by digging a hole twice as wide and twice as deep as the root ball. Backfill the soil until you have a hole the same size or slightly larger than the container the rose is in. Plant the rose at the same depth as it is in the container. Space Knock Out Roses 3 feet apart. Mulch the planting site to retain soil moisture and keep competing growth from coming up around the rose bush.
2. Watering: Keep Knock Out Roses moist at all times. Water around the roots rather than overhead (or showering). Generally, this means watering about once or twice weekly, or more often in dry conditions.
3. Fertilizing: Fertilize with an organic rose fertilizer once a month.
4. Pruning: Prune every spring, all the way back to 12 inches off the ground, after it is established. When you do prune, sterilize your sharp pruning shears with hot water or rubbing alcohol. This guarantees a cleaner, healthier cut. Always prune at an angle and not straight across.

The Double Knock Out Roses are doing very well and are healthy.
Excellent customer service
We ordered several flowers and the first shipment came damaged. Within a week we had replacements at our door. Beautiful flowers too!

Excellent. Very happy with all four rose bushes. New growth and buds immediately.
This was a 2nd purchase of Double Knock Out For Me
My 1st was 2-3 years ago. It now looks like the sample photo above. I bought 3 more this time. Single Knock Out reds (I have several becase they were cheaper at the time) don't grow as bushy, tall or profligately floral as the Doubles.
