Planting & Care
When you’re ready to plant, select a pot that’s about one and a half times to two times your plant’s shipped container. Supplement with well-balanced potting soil, place your plant, backfill, and water to settle the roots.
2. Watering: Water your Norfolk Island weekly for best results – the soil should be moist but not oversaturated. Though it’s moderately drought tolerant once established, your Norfolk Island benefits from moist soil. If you’re not sure when to water, simply water whenever the top of the soil is dry to the touch. Weekly misting of the tree or a nearby humidifier is also important, as the Norfolk Island loves humidity.
3. Fertilizing: Fertilize your Norfolk Pine in the spring and summer with a water-soluble fertilizer.
