Planting & Care
Planting: Select a planting site that receives full sunlight (about six hours of sun) or filtered shade. Dogwood trees are highly adaptable to many soil types, but they thrive in moist, fertile soils high in organic matter.
Dig a hole that is three times the diameter of your tree’s root ball and of equal depth. Place your tree in the planting hole, keeping the top of the root ball even with the ground. Adjust your tree’s position/angle then use the original soil to backfill the planting hole. Water the area immediately to settle the soil.
Watering: It’s best to water your tree once or twice a week. Be sure to water correctly - light green leaves are a sign of overwatering, while drooping leaves can signify both underwatering and overwatering. Generally, you'll want to water until the soil is moist 2 to 3 inches down.
Fertilizing: If you choose to fertilize, do so in early spring before bloom then again three months later. Any general-purpose fertilizer will work.

I have been looking for a Mexican dogwood for years, with no luck. Very pleased that Fast-growing-trees.com put these in production. My tree arrived in great condition, excellent packaging. I've since potted the tree and am looking forward to watching it grow. It did lose some leaves but it starting to sprout new ones. This is my fourth tree that I have ordered. Only had issued with one, and customer service promptly took care of the issue. Check out the Butterfly magnolia and Rosy teacup dogwood.
