Compact Evergreen Shrub Designed to Withstand the Cold

The Greenfinity Cherry Laurel is an extremely winter-hardy evergreen shrub with a rounded, compact form. It’s the dwarf version of the classic Skip Laurel, or Cherry Laurel, making it the perfect smaller-sized shrub for your home or garden!

Since it originated in Hungary, it's designed to survive extreme cold. This winter-hardy plant will give you year-round color while requiring very little maintenance - perfect for tough-to-plant areas and beginner gardeners.

Its shiny, dark-green foliage emerges a light lime green, giving you a variety of color year-round. Its compact shape and bushy habit make it an attractive feature for any yard. Plus, it’s wildlife-friendly - birds will love eating the berries it produces!

The Greenfinity Cherry Laurel’s hardiness stretches beyond just winter weather. It also tolerates poor soils, urban pollution, and road salt, making it perfect for planting in urban or woodland settings and everywhere in between.

Get your Greenfinity Cherry Laurel today and plant it as an evergreen garden accent or compact privacy hedge!

Note: If your plant arrives with holes or damaged leaves, don’t be alarmed! Laurels do not like being in containers, so it is very common for this cosmetic damage to occur. Once plant your Laurel in the ground, new growth will emerge happy, healthy and hole-free. If you have any concerns, don’t hesitate to contact us!

Planting & Care

1. Planting: First, select a location with well-drained soil and full sun to partial shade – any area with about 4 to 6 hours of sunlight should suffice. When you’re ready to plant, dig a hole that’s about three times the width of your plant’s root ball, and place your plant.

2. Watering: Once established, your Cherry Laurel is relatively drought-tolerant, but it’s important to have a regular watering schedule for the first few growing seasons. Water about once weekly or check the surrounding soil about 2 or 3 inches down.

Hooty Reviews the Greenfinity Cherry Laurel

These worked out great, and, so far, seem hardy. I will know more in six months. They arrived in great packaging and were undamaged. They were easy to plant.
