Large, Lush and Low-Maintenance Blooms
Add tropical beauty and endless blooms to your space with this low-effort, high-reward tropical hibiscus. The First Lady Hibiscus dazzles landscapes all spring and summer long with its large, pink blooms.
This Tropical Hibiscus was named “First Lady” for its striking beauty and grace. The large, lush flowers blossom in a unique, pale pink hue, with deep pink centers and contrasting yellow stamens. With the combination of classic Hibiscus blooms and the delicate, rosy color, the first Lady Hibiscus is a unique addition to your space.
The First Lady Hibiscus blooms consistently from early spring until first frost, making it a true three-season addition to your garden space. It’s a beautiful addition to garden beds in warmer climates, or patio containers in cooler areas. To add even more tropical feeling to your space, plant your First Lady alongside other hibiscus varieties or tropical greenery!
Not only is the First Lady Hibiscus a charming focal point for your space, it’s also low-maintenance and easy-care once established.
If you want all long-lasting hibiscus blooms without the hassle or maintenance, order your very own First Lady today!
Planting & Care
1. Planting: Plant your Hibiscus in full sun (around 6 to 8 hours of sunlight daily), in an area with well-drained soil. Once you've selected your location, dig a hole large enough to accommodate your shrub's root ball.
If you're planting in a container, select a pot that's about twice the width of your shrub's shipped container. Use organic soil, place your shrub, and select a sunny spot.
If your Hibiscus is container-planted in a colder climate, just bring it inside in the winter when the temperature starts to drop.
2. Watering: You'll want to water your Hibiscus once or twice weekly. If you're not sure when to water, check your shrub's soil about 2 or 3 inches down for dryness.
3. Fertilizing: Use a well-balanced fertilizer in the spring to encourage blooming, following label instructions.
