Add Unique Texture to Your House Plant Collection
Why Crocodile Ferns?
The Crocodile Fern is known for its glossy, textured fronds that look a lot like its namesake animal’s tail! If you’re looking for a beautifully unexpected potted plant, look no further than this rare specimen.
Each plant is composed of a whorl of five- to 10-inch fronds, packed tightly together. The vibrant green foliage will catch the eye, whether you place it on a tabletop or on a shelf along side other plants. Your Crocodile fern will also thrive in a greenhouse or on a porch in warmer weather, as ferns appreciate humidity.
The best part of this truly one-of-a-kind house plant? Its naturally textured foliage, which grows in a shiny, scaled pattern. It's sure to stand out in your house plant collection - and we promise you won't find this unique fern at your local plant store.

Planting & Care
1. Planting: Start by choosing the right location for your Crocodile Fern: an east or north-facing window is ideal since it grows best in filtered or indirect light. Once you’ve chosen your location, plant in a pot that’s approximately twice the size of your plant’s shipped container.
2. Watering: Ferns love humidity, and it’s easy to provide a humid environment by placing your plant in a bathroom, kitchen or near a humidifier. Your fern also can be placed in other spaces, but it’s important to mist at least twice weekly. If you’re not sure when to mist, simply check the soil down to around two inches. If the soil is dry, it’s time to mist your plant. In addition, water when the soil is dry 2 inches down.
3. Fertilizing: During the growing season from April to September, fertilize your Crocodile Fern once a month using house plant-specialized or a 10-10-10 formula.
