A Strong, Iconic Bloomer for Nearly Any Climate
Why Bradford Pear Trees?
Known for its iconic springtime blooms and signature, easy-to-identify silhouette, the Bradford Pear Tree is a symbol of the season. Warmer months translate to a blanket of white blooms on each Bradford…blooms that tolerate a variety of hard conditions.
In fact, the Bradford thrives through pollution and drought. Hot temperatures are no problem for the Pear Tree, and it’s perfect for lining streets, driveways and beyond because it’s not affected by smog or car exhaust. Even better? You can plant it in an array of soil types – and it still grows well.

Planting & Care
2. Watering: Once it’s established, it’s tolerant to drought, but a consistent watering schedule is important the first few growing seasons. To test when and how much to water your Bradford, check the top 2 to 3 inches of soil – if it’s dry, it’s time to water until the soil is moist but not oversaturated.
3. Fertilizing: Unless you notice slower growth, fertilizer for your Bradford should not be necessary. If you do fertilize, do so with a well-balanced blend before new growth begins in the spring.
4. Pruning: Prune as needed during the winter months.

Bradford Pear tree
While the shipping was a bit long the arrived tree was in good shape. It arrived with limbs, leaves, and a wrapped root ball which is different than trees I have bought online elsewhere that came with bare roots and no limbs at all, just a stick. After planting it looks nice and healthy.
