The Baby Version of Thuja, Same Big Benefits
Why Baby Giant Arborvitaes?
An improved variety of the Thuja Green Giant, the Baby Giant offers a number of one-of-a-kind benefits that set it apart, starting with improved winter color for year-round greenery (which is less susceptible to browning and yellowing). It's also adaptable, growing in a compact size that makes it the perfect choice as a privacy hedge for homeowners with smaller yards.
Plant several Baby Giant Arborvitaes in a row to create a privacy screen or windscreen that stills let the sunlight into your backyard. Its conical shape and deep green color are reminiscent of a French garden. Whether you plant it solo or in a group to keep out nosy neighbors or unsightly views, you'll love the look and quick, easy growth.
Even better? It's disease-resistant and involves virtually no upkeep. The Baby Giant Arborvitae is a tree you can plant and forget. From climates with temperamental winters to hot, humid summers and everywhere in-between, Baby Giant is highly versatile. Plus, once it's established, you won't even have to bother with watering! You'll have a fully-formed tree, quickly and easily.
Why Fast-Growing-Trees.com is Better
You won't find the Baby Giant at your local nursery or big-box retailer. It's our newest introduction for Thuja lovers who need the benefits of a smaller, more compact tree. But the best part is that you get amazing growth that's much healthier.
When you shop at chain garden centers, you might see Arborvitaes that are sparse and dying (and you won't see the Baby Giant at all). But because we plant, grow and nurture our trees for months ahead of shipping, you get a better-developed tree, with an intact root system, delivered directly to your door.
If you love the look and shape of a Thuja Green Giant but don't have enough space, the Baby Giant Arborvitae is your tree of choice. Order yours today!
Planting & Care
1. Planting: Plant your Baby Giant Arborvitaes no closer than 3 feet apart in well-draining soil and in a spot that receives full sun with a bit of shade (around 6 hours of direct sunlight daily). Place in a hole twice as wide and just as deep as the root ball. There's no need to amend the soil, but you can add a thick layer of mulch around the base of the tree for weed prevention.
2. Watering: Make sure your Baby Giant Arborvitae receives water weekly while it is establishing. Rain is usually enough to keep it hydrated, but you'll need to water it if you experience a period of drought.
After it's established, there's no need to water your tree.
3. Pruning: There is no pruning, fertilizing or disease management needed for the Baby Giant. You can prune as desired for creating a hedge, but it is not necessary.

So far they are good
Put them out almost two months ago and they look great. They came in great shape and were still moist. If they make it through the winter, I believe they will thrive. Can't wait to see how much they grow in 2023.

Baby green giants You’re asking how I like them they got to grow first
Nice (Bent) Tree
The tree I received appears to be in good health, and it will likely do well over time. However, it was extremely bowed upon arrival and has required some aggressive staking to keep it upright. Might be normal. I’m not really an expert. Otherwise, no complaints.
